The Town of Branford is now accepting books at the Transfer Station for redistribution or recycling.  The town has paired with Got Books?, a company in Massachusetts that collects the books for resale or recycling.  Got Books? is a fund raising organization that takes the books that are donated, and sells them at weekend book sales out of their warehouse to benefit local charities. Any books that cannot be resold are sent to be recycled.  Items that are accepted in the drop box, are books of all sorts, CD’s, DVD’s, audio tapes, audio books, comic books, video games, sports cards and small sports memorabilia,  computer software, and sheet music.
