Branford Vision Project
Branford Vision Project
Mission Statement
Branford’s Vision Project task force is
comprised of representatives of town boards,
commissions and select organizations which
represent our community’s values through
their involvement in community affairs,
economic development, and land use [members
listed below].
The Task Force’s charge is to establish
goals, objectives and strategies to promote
a healthy balance between the interests of
the business community and its residents –
an articulation of what this community wants
for its next generations. This includes:
·
high quality of life,
·
educational and employment opportunity,
·
sustainable growth,
·
cultural enrichment,
·
preservation of both local heritage and
natural resources.
The project’s focus is long term, producing
a guide to aid in short-term decision making
while maintaining a thoughtful and strategic
path for Branford’s economic, physical and
community development.
The task force will employ various methods
of collecting and analyzing information in
order to develop a set of recommendations as
to what Branford can be and what should be
done to realize that “vision.”
