**THE RECREATION DEPARTMENT IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST OR STOLEN ARTICLES.  PLEASE BRING A LOCK TO  KEEP VALUABLES SAFE.

**FLOTATION DEVICES ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE POOL.

**EVERYONE ON THE DECK MUST BE IN A BATHING SUIT.

**STREET SHOES ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE DECK.

PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN THE CIRCULAR DRIVEWAY. YOU WILL BE TOWED.

POOL RULES

All swimmers must be out of the building by 9:30 P.M. SHARP! During the week and 3:30 P.M. on Saturdays.  Please be on time.  The Recreation Department is not responsible for lost or stolen articles.  Please bring a lock with you to keep your belongings safe. Swimmers are only allowed in the locker rooms and pool areas. You may NOT enter the building for any reason. 

RULES:

·       The Pool is available for Branford Residents ONLY!

·       For safety, NO one is permitted on the deck in street clothes.  Everyone MUST    be in a bathing suit.

·       All Swimmers will provide there own suit and towel.  Suits must be made of nylon or non-lint material.  NO cut-off, t-shirts or jeans are allowed.

·       Children under the age of 10 MUST be accompanied by an adult.

·       All swimmers MUST take a shower prior to entering the pool.

·       Small children and infants WILL NOT be allowed to remain in the pool or pool areas unsupervised while there parents/guardians are swimming.

·       All toddlers/infants MUST wear a swim diaper in the pool.  No diapers are allowed.

·       All hairpins, bandages, jewelry and other objects that may fall off in the pool MUST be removed before entering the pool area.

·       Conversations with the lifeguards are prohibited.  PLEASE do not distract the  lifeguards while they are working.  Your safety depends on their performance.

·       NO smoking, eating, drinking or chewing gum will be allowed anywhere in the building.

·       Adult swim if for those 18 years and older.

·       Masks and fins or unattached  flotation devices are  PROHIBITED.  Please see the lifeguard for swimming  belts and lifejackets.

·       No running or pushing on pool deck or in locker rooms.

·       Anyone with bandages or contagious skin disease will not be allowed in the pool.

·       Children wearing floatation devices are not allowed in the deep end without an adult.

·       Diving is only allowed in designated areas

·       One person is allowed on the diving board at a time.

·       Back dives are NOT allowed.

·       Children 5 years and older MUST be in the appropriate gender locker room.  Children should NEVER be left unattended.

·       OBEY THE LIFEGUARDS NO MATTER WHAT!!
