Trip
to See the Uconn Ladies Hoop Team Scheduled for February
27th
The Branford
Recreation Department is pleased to announce that
tickets are available for the UConn-Georgetown Hoyas
women’s basketball game on Saturday, February 27, 2010
at the XL Center (formerly the
Hartford
Civic Center).
Cost for this trip is $57.00, which includes ticket to
the game, bus transportation, and driver gratuity.
Registration is currently being taken at the
Branford Recreation Department,
46 Church Street, Branford.
The bus will leave the Community House Parking
Lot at 10:15 a.m. and return immediately after the game.
The game is scheduled for 12 noon.
This game will also feature and honor the five
graduating seniors on the basketball team as part of its
Senior Day Festivities.

Trip to
Fenway
Park planned for April
The Branford Recreation Department is pleased to
announce that tickets are available for the Baltimore
Orioles-Boston Red Sox game on Sunday, April 25th,
2010 at
Fenway Park.
Cost for this trip is $95.00, which includes
ticket to the game, driver gratuity, and bus
transportation.
Registration is now being conducted at the Branford
Recreation Department,
46 Church Street, Branford.
The bus will leave the Community Parking Lot.
Game Time is to be determined due to the Major League
Baseball TV schedule. For

The Branford Recreation Department is asking all
Branford Residents who have loved ones stationed
overseas and would like to have a photo placed in
the Community Center Bulletin Board Showcase to call
either Victor Amatori at 488-8304 or James Tucker,
Sr. at 627-1323
Please also include the service person’s name, rank,
and station location.

The Branford
Recreation Department offers a wide variety of athletic
and recreational activities for all ages. Some of the
programs offered range from sport tournaments,
children’s after school programs, holiday events,
toddler programs, ballroom dancing, karate, duplicate
bridge, walk the Branford trails, craft classes, bus
trips, sports clinics, as well as summer camps,
gymnastics, swimming and diving lessons, and much, much
more.
