Job Description

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Do you have municipal tax collector experience, enjoy working in a team environment, have a proactive helpful approach to working with others, enjoy meeting and greeting the public, and take great pride in your work?
• Receive & verify deposits from clerks. Prepare deposits for Finance Department
• Track MTD, YTD collection info. And reconcile to computer figures i.e. Excel spreadsheet deposit breakdowns.
• Ability to help out in Sewer Dept. taking in payments and inputs information and answer questions on the phone.
• Strong math and analytical skills.
• Ability to effectivity meet and deal with the public; ability to communicate verbally and in writing; and the ability to handle stressful situations.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Qualified applicants would generally possess a Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree with specialized coursework in general office practices. Ability to be bonded.
