Summary of Job:
The purposes of this position are to lead, administer, direct, manage, monitor and document the operation, construction, repair, replacement and maintenance of the wastewater treatment plant and collection system that meets or exceed regulatory requirements and adopted operating standards of a Class IV Plant. The Superintendent of Wastewater Treatment Plant is required to exercise judgment in administering and enforcing the department and state/federal regulations and is responsible for maintaining and improving upon the efficiency and effectiveness of all areas under his/her direction and control.
