Job Title: Transportation Coordinator- Canoe Brook Senior Center

Pay Scale: $42,625.12-$50,147.20
The Transportation Coordinator is responsible for the development, growth and supervision of all day-to-day operations of Canoe Brook Senior Center transportation system with an active ridership and fleet of vans and cars. Assist with the Center operations, daily financial and activity tasks.
Essential Job Functions:

Manage a fleet of 6 vehicles, 5 CDL drivers, and a team of drivers.
Schedule, route, and dispatch daily transportation services and occasional evening & weekend activities
Responsible for driver supervision, passenger communications, and vehicle maintenance.
Schedule, conduct, and document safety evaluations, and monthly reports.
Recruit, train and supervise CDL bus drivers and volunteer medical car drivers
Develop and maintain vehicle safety protocols: inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
Provide daily and monthly statistical data, safety evaluations, and monthly reports.
Conduct accident investigations, file incident reports, and implement safety protocols.
Review, educate, and enforce Canoe Brook transportation procedures & policies.
Ensure compliance with all FMCSA & OSHA regulations, including mandatory drug testing.
Coordinate driver trainings, annual recognition party, fundraising activities, & donation development.
Assist with financial operations including daily payments, reconciliation, reports, and data analysis.
Develop annual transportation budget & capital purchase schedule. Assist with new vehicle procurement.
Evaluate the safety of road conditions during inclement weather. Remove snow and ice from vehicles.
Possess & maintain CDL class B or C with passenger endorsement. Drive vehicles as needed.
Work collaboratively with Canoe Brook staff in daily operations; addressing inquiries on programs and services, taking payments, room set-up, producing monthly newsletter, and activity coordination
