In many instances, the vehicles have been unlocked and many had keys left somewhere in the vehicle.
- Please remember to lock your car and don't leave keys inside.
- Do not leave anything valuable in plain view
- During the winter months, don't leave your car warming up unattended.

Thefts From Cars In Neighborhoods & Town Parks
There have been many reported thefts of valuables from automobiles parked in neighborhoods over the past year; mainly from vehicles that have been UNLOCKED. In addition, annually, as the nicer weather has approaches, vehicles parked at Branford Supply Pond, Youngs Pond and other Town parks, may be broken into and valuables may be taken that are left VISIBLY in the car.
