Fine Bubble Aeration Diffuser Installation

The Town of Branford is requesting bid proposals for the Fine Bubble Aeration Diffuser Installation. The work at the Branford Water Pollution Control Facility includes, but is not limited to, installing new find bubble aeration membranes, manifolds and piping in one of two aeration tanks and one reaeration tank.

The Work under the proposed Contract shall commence within 60 days after the date set forth in the Notice to Proceed and shall be completed within 60 days after start of Work.

Contract Documents will be available for download on the Town of Branford website and the CT DAS website.

Bids are to be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “Fine Bubble Aeration Diffuser Installation” to the Finance Department, Attention Purchasing Clerk, 1019 Main Street, Branford, CT 06405 by 1:30PM, Friday, May 24, 2024. No bids will be accepted after that time and date. Bids will be publicly opened immediately thereafter in the conference room located on the basement floor of Town Hall.

Bids must be held firm for ninety (90) days beyond the bid opening date.

Bidding documents for this project will be available for download at the Town of Branford website and at the CT DAS website. Printed bidding documents will not be offered for purchase for this project. A printed set of bidding documents are available for review during business hours from 8:30 a.m. to noon and from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. after May 8, 2024, at the following location: Town Engineer Office Town Hall 1019 Main Street Branford, CT 06405.

The Town of Branford reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, waive informalities or minor defects in bidding or to accept the Bid of Bids, which best serve the best interested of the Town.
