Help Out Take Out
A joint effort of Branford Rotary Club and Branford Counseling & Community Services (BCCS), HELP OUT - TAKE OUT purchases gift cards from local restaurants and distributes them to Branford residents who have lost jobs, cannot work, or have had their hours reduced as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.  If this applies to you, please complete the ONLINE APPLICATION FORM. BRANFORD HOME DELIVERY SERVICE

The Town of Branford, realizing the importance of keeping our residents safe during this COVID-19 pandemic, has initiated a program designed to help senior citizens and/or immunosuppressed individuals with their shopping needs. In cooperation with local vendors Caron’s Corner and Big Y, the Town has developed a food delivery program to help those residents who are considered high risk is contacting this virus. These include senior citizens and immunosuppressed individuals. This program is free to qualifying Branford residents. Branford Counseling & Community Services (BCCS) staff will be responsible for processing the food order, which should be for at least a week's worth of groceries, via telephone or email, Monday through Friday 9am to 12pm. To place an order, complete a Grocery Order Form (as well as a prepared meals list from Caron’s Corner, if needed) and call (203) 481-4248 or email to Hollye Lane at hlane@branford-ct.gov.

FOOD GIFT CARDS

If you lost your job, cannot work, or have had your hours reduced as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, you may be eligible to receive a food gift card. Please complete the application. This fillable form can be e-mailed or scanned to Hollye Lane at hlane@branford-ct.gov or printed and mailed to Branford Counseling & Community Services at 342 Harbor Street, Branford, CT 06405. You will be contacted once your application is processed.
