Breweries to Biotech: Shoreline Economic Summit Plans for Growth

Business News Briefs

Business News in Brief, The New Haven Register, Week of May 8, 2016

BRANFORD >> Acara Partners, a business consulting firm, and its sister company, Reach Beyond Marketing, will move to 944 Main St. June 1, according to a release.
Richard Guralnick, CCIM with O,R&L Commercial Realty, had been working with Francis and Colleen Acunzo, co-founders of Acara, to find a location for the expanding business, the release said.
“With the growth of Reach Beyond Marketing, our advertising and digital agency, we needed to make a move to accommodate the expanding team,” Francis X Acunzo, Acara’s cofounder and CEO, said in the release. “We were looking at New Haven, but the entire team wanted to be in the downtown Branford area for the charm and convenience of shopping, eating and recreation. With limited office space in the downtown area, we were very fortunate to find what we needed to accommodate our growing business.”
In addition, the business plans to expand its workforce, according to the release.
“What’s great about Acara Partners and Reach Beyond Marketing staying here in Branford is that it keeps 20 jobs from moving away. Plus, with their planned growth increasing the team by an additional 10 employees, Branford is very fortunate to have Acara Partners call Branford its home,” Perry Maresca, chairman of the town’s Economic Development Commission, said in the release.
