BRANFORD WATER POLLUTION CONTROL FACILITY PROCESS SYSTEM UPGRADES
IN THE
TOWN OF BRANFORD, CONNECTICUT

The Town of Branford, Connecticut hereby gives notice that sealed Bids will be received for the Branford Water Pollution Control Facility (WPFC) Process System Upgrades. The work at Branford WPCF includes, but is not limited to, the installation of new process air blowers, a new WAS blower, a reaeration blower, new plant water pumps, and associated piping.
The Work under the proposed Contract shall commence within 45 days after the date set forth in the Notice to Proceed and shall be completed within 520 days after start of Work.
A Pre-Bid meeting will be held on June 10th, 2025, at 10 a.m. EST, at the Branford Water Pollution Control Facility 75 Block Island Rd Branford, CT 06405.
The Purchasing Clerk for the Town of Branford, Connecticut, will receive sealed bids until 1:30 p.m. Local Time on June 23rd, 2025, at the Finance Office, Town Hall, 1019 Main Street, Branford, Connecticut 06405. After the official Bid closing time, the Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Branford Town Hall basement conference room at 1019 Main Street, Branford, Connecticut. No electronic bid submissions will be allowed.
Bidding documents for this project will be available for download at the Town of Branford website and at the CT DAS website. Printed bidding documents will not be offered for purchase for this project. A printed set of bidding documents are available for review during business hours from 8:30 a.m. to noon and from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. after May 22, 2025 at the Town Hall Engineer’s Office 1019 Main Street Branford, CT 06405.
No Bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 90 days after the opening of Bids without consent of Owner.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, waive informalities or minor defects in bidding or to accept the Bid or Bids, which best serve the interests of Owner.
