Town of Branford


The Town of Branford, Connecticut, hereby gives notice that sealed unit price Bids will be received for indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity trenchless utility rehabilitation work in the Town of Branford.

Sealed Bids will be received until 10:00 a.m. Local Time on the 7th day of July, 2020, by the Purchasing Agent at the office of the Finance Department Office, Town Hall 1019 Main Street, Branford, Connecticut 06405. After the official Bid closing time, the Bids will be opened and read aloud via videoconferencing. Videoconferencing time and sign-in information will be posted on the Town of Branford website prior to the opening.

Plans and specifications for this project will be available for download at the Town of Branford website, and at the CT DAS website. Printed bid documents will not be offered for review or purchase for this project.

Bid Security in the amount of $50,000 shall accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders.

The Bidder to whom a Contract is awarded shall furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond for each resulting project each in an amount equal to 100 percent of the Contact Price for that project.

No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the opening for the bids without consent of the Town of Branford.

The Town of Branford reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, waive informalities or minor defects in bidding or to accept the Bid or Bids, which best serve the interest of the Town.
